About
Kodo's precise technique, expert rhythm and dynamic range in their shime playing is legendary. Learn directly from Leonard Eto, who for many years was the lead player and artistic director of Kodo. The workshop starts from how to hold the bachi, and position of playing. Participants can play Shime-daiko while standing or sitting. The workshop will cover learning strokes and different techniques, while playing rhythmic patterns that are characteristic of the Shime-daiko.
