Glasgow Taster Workshop

Taiko drumming combines rhythm, movement & energy. It's uplifting to play, is good for physical & mental health, and helps develop coordination & internal rhythm. Taiko promotes teamwork & is also a great stress-buster!

This taster workshop is an opportunity to try out Taiko drumming and is suitable for adults of all ages & abilities. The workshop covers the basics of taiko from the stance & grip, through to learning a short & fun taiko rhythm in a friendly & supportive atmosphere.

The taster workshop is held at Community Central Hall on Maryhill Road, close to St George's Cross subway.

After the workshop, you may be interested in signing up for an 8-week course, which starts the following week.

We also run weekend workshops & intensive courses, as well as a variety of further training.

All equipment is provided (drums & bachi drumsticks). Please arrive wearing loose & comfortable clothing…
