About
The Glasgow Taiko course is suitable for both complete beginners & improvers, and takes you step by step from the basics right through to learning a full performance piece, guided by experienced instructors in a friendly & supportive atmosphere. Taiko drumming is uplifting, fun and is great for teamwork & stress relief!
The course runs for 8 weeks from 21st October to 16th December on Tuesdays at 6:00 - 7:30pm at Community Central Hall on Maryhill Road, close to St George's Cross subway. The final session will be a "sharing night", where friends & family are welcome to come along. (Please note there is no session on Tuesday 18th November)
A 10 % discount is available for under 30s and those on low income support.
All equipment is provided (drums & bachi drumsticks). Please arrive wearing loose & comfortable clothing and shoes. A water bottle is a good idea too!…
