Miyuki Williams

Founding member

Co-founder of Mugenkyo, also trained in Japan under Kurumaya Sensei. Born of a Japanese mother & Welsh father, she spent her childhood in Indonesia, Malaysia, Spain, Japan & USA. As a child, Miyuki studied classical piano & Nihon Buyo classical Japanese dance, which has influenced her graceful & musical playing style. It has also influenced her songwriting for the group, which is reflected in the definite sound & style for which Mugenkyo is renowned. A powerful player with incredible stamina, Miyuki expresses her joy of life through her playing & teaching.
