Trans-Taiko Beat Project

The Trans-Taiko Beat Project is the newest show by members of Mugenkyo, transcending boundaries of culture & genre, challenging preconceived ideas about Taiko drumming & bringing the art-form into the modern age.

From traditional to modern, the art of taiko drumming has transformed over time to become one of the most dynamic and thrilling art forms in existence today. This new concert brings in new elements & ideas, technology & crossover, transporting audiences to another time & place through the taiko time-line.

The show is suitable for small to medium scale venues, where it is a two-hour full theatrical concert. We also have a shorter and more informal version of the Project for music venues, clubs and special events.
