World of Gods
Acclaimed collaboration "The World of Gods" with the Scottish National Jazz Orchestra, a concert weaving the two art-forms together into a seamless whole. Tommy Smith, saxophonist & director of the SNJO, composed new music and new arrangements of traditional Japanese melodies, while Mugenkyo composed new taiko rhythms for the jazz arrangements, opening a completely new avenue of creativity. The show has been well-received by press & audiences alike, both north & south of the border & at jazz festivals across the UK.
