BBC Proms

A collaboration with Highland piper Stuart Cassells from the group Red Hot Chilli Pipers, broadcast nationwide on the "Last Night of the Proms". We were invited to perform by BBC Scotland to showcase the diversity of talent in Scotland, delivering a high-energy set with highland pipes live from Glasgow Green, and beamed via satellite to the London Albert Hall audience & around the world as a highlight of the Proms Last Night. The sheer volume & power of the two loudest acoustic instruments - taiko & pipes - truly complemented each other & created quite a stir with the audience.
