All over Japan, thousands of men, women & children play Taiko, the traditional music of the people, at temples and village festivals and all other kinds of events. Now, at last, a unique opportunity to try out Taiko drumming in Falkirk!
An introduction to the drums, percussion, hypnotic rhythms and choreographed movement of this exciting performing art. No previous experience of playing drums, percussion or of reading music is necessary - all are welcome. Taiko drums and drumsticks will be provided. Please come wearing loose and comfortable clothing and shoes.
1-2:30pm - Age 7-15, plus accompanying Adults & Carers - £7
3-5pm - Adults (over 16's) - £10
