OPTION 1 - 10-WEEK BEGINNERS TAIKO COURSE
EDINBURGH @ ST. JOHN'S CHURCH on Mondays
If you're interested in taking a beginners-level course & enjoy learning taiko for fun - this is the option for you. Participants are taken step by step from the stance to bachi grip to learning a performance piece over the course of 10 weeks.

Cost: £120 for 10 sessions / £70 special price for under 30's
OPTION 2 - TAIKO TRAINING
EDINBURGH @ ST. JOHNS CHURCH on Tuesdays
If you have a background in music or dance or performance, and you're interested in more intensive taiko training, with the possibility of progressing to our performing team, then this option is for you.
Beginners are welcome, following an introductory taster session and an informal audition. The purpose of the audition is to see if you have the necessary rhythmic & movement skills, and to explain a bit more about what taiko training involves.

OPTION 3 - INTRODUCTORY WEEKEND WORKSHOP

Join us at our HQ in rural South Lanarkshire at our purpose-built Taiko Dojo for a full weekend of taiko, The introductory weekend workshop is fully immersive experience, learning the basics of taiko, trying out different drums & playing styles and learning more about the background of the art-form. Workshops fill up fast!
