Wednesdays 6:30 - 8:00 pm - Nagareboshi
This is a choreographed performance piece based on the "gobu-gobu" rhythm.
This course is suitable both for beginners and for those with some experience
in taiko.
Wednesdays 8:15 - 9:45 pm - Mitsu-uchi
In this course we will focus on the basics of the Fukui style of playing from the
west coast of Japan, learning two traditional solos, and "bachi sabaki" movement.
The solos learned will be different to previous courses, and delve deeper into the
"Fukui style". This course is more suitable for those with experience but beginners are still welcome.
This course will form part of a series of courses running regularly throughout the year. Take your taiko playing to the next level with "Taiko Night"!
