Courses in Central Scotland

We run regular workshops & courses in Glasgow & Edinburgh & occasional taster workshops in other parts of Central Scotland.

Taster workshops provide a short & enjoyable introduction to the world of taiko drumming, learning the basic technique & a short rhythm.

Longer courses in Glasgow & Edinburgh (8-10 weekly sessions) are designed to take the participant from the first introductory level, through to learning a taiko drumming piece to be performed at a guest spot as part of our Taiko Drumfest concert.

The above course is a designed to lead to a performance. If you're interested in learning how to play the taiko drums without leading to a performance, we'd recommend joining one of our introductory weekend workshops instead.
